Hi, I'm Muyu.
People & Organizational Systems Advisor
I work with founders and leaders at moments when the old way no longer fits.
When organizations grow, restructure, or face sustained uncertainty, the questions are rarely technical alone.
I support founders, leadership teams, and individuals in making sense of what is actually happening—across people, structure, and decision-making—so change can be approached with clarity, realism, and long-term coherence.
Two Streams of Work
My work takes two primary forms, each shaped by a commitment to depth over speed, and substance over style.
Organizational Work
You may be leading a growing organization, navigating restructuring, or sensing that existing systems no longer support how the team actually works.
I partner with founders, leadership teams, and organizations to examine how structure, talent systems, and decision-making interact—especially during periods of growth, contraction, or strategic transition.
Rather than offering standardized solutions, I work alongside teams to clarify what is really happening, and to design adjustments that are both realistic and sustainable.
Learn moreIndividual Work
You may be stepping into a new leadership role, questioning your next career move, or sensing that a familiar identity no longer fully fits.
I offer one-on-one advisory conversations for individuals navigating leadership transitions, career crossroads, and meaningful personal change.
These conversations are not about prescribing answers, but about creating structure and clarity—so you can make decisions that align with both your current reality and longer-term direction.
Learn moreWhat Guides This Work
My work is grounded in a systems perspective—understanding individuals, teams, and organizations as interconnected systems shaped by structure, culture, incentives, and human experience. It is guided by two core principles.
Practical Idealism
Holding a clear vision of what could be better, while committing to strategies that are designable, executable, and grounded in real constraints. Ideals matter—but only when they can be translated into action.
Optimistic Possibilism
Rather than defaulting to risk avoidance or fixed predictions, I stay curious about multiple possible paths and their implications, while maintaining an optimistic stance that seeks to expand upside and reduce downside over time.
This work is not about quick fixes or imported frameworks. It is about creating conditions for honest inquiry, clearer decision-making, and change that people and systems can actually sustain.
